Celebrating Cub Scouts and Girl Guiding in Scotland
01 May 2010
Working in conjunction with The Scout Association and Girl
Guiding Scotland, activity sheets have been created to support
young people in achieving a variety of badges including
communication and creativity.
The Cub Scouts Scottish Challenge Badge includes an option to
focus on one of Scotland's world famous industries, shipbuilding.
Since 2010 is the Girl Guides centenary year, special activity
sheets have been created to support girls in achieving their
Centenary Badge.
The Titan Crane is the perfect site to find out more about this
industry and to bring the heritage alive. Standing a massive 150 ft
in the air, Scotland's most unique visitor attraction is an
exciting place to visit for children and adults alike. Our friendly
and helpful staff are on hand to support your group during their
visit, to answer questions and to make the visit as fun as possible
for the group. In order to make the most of a site visit, get in
touch with the Heritage Officer to make the booking. This will
allow you to take advantage of our group booking discount.
These activity sheets are available on request from the Heritage
Officer via email emma.baxter@clydebankrebuilt.co.uk.
Alternatively, if you would prefer a hard copy sent in the post
contact Emma via telephone on 0141 9513420.
