OPEN EVERY DAY IN JULY AND AUGUST
The century old Titan Crane at Clydebank first opened to
the public in July 2007, 100 years after it was built by Sir
William Arrol Company. As a seasonal attraction, it is open to
visitors from May to October each year. This year we are open
every day during July and August from 10am until 4pm (last
admission 3.30pm). In September, the Titan will be open on Fridays,
Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays.
For pre-booked parties of ten or more, we offer a group
discount. For more info and to book, call 0141 951 3420 and

Tickets
You can just turn up and purchase your tickets on arrival. The
Crane can get busy with school and coach bookings, so
booking online is the best way to ensure your visit is
accommodated.
Booking Online
Click the link on the left of this page to book your tickets for
the 2010 season. Please note, if booking online you will not
receive a ticket to bring with you. All that is required is the
email confirmation from PayPal and you will be given a ticket on
arrival at the ticket office.
Group Bookings
Our Heritage Officer is on hand to support your group whatever
the age in a visit to the Titan. Your group can enjoy a tailored
tour to suit your interests and discount on ticket prices. If you
have a school class, college group or community group and would
like to come to visit us, contact Emma on 0141 951 3420 to
book.
By Phone
On days the Titan is open, it is possible to book your tickets
over the phone, using a credit or debit card. Simply call 0141
952 3771 and the staff will take your details, process your payment
and have your tickets ready for your arrival.
Getting Here
Remember, all visits begin at the Pursers Ticket Office. As the
Crane and the Pursers Office do not have their own postcode the
nearest buildings are the Clydebank College and the Titan
Enterprise at G81 1BF. Please refer to our map and directions and the downloadable
site specific map of the area.
Cruise on the River Clyde
Clyde Cruises have started their summer trips along the Clyde,
including an afternoon stop at the Titan from Wednesday -
Sunday. This service will run until September and can be booked
through their website www.clydecruises.com or
call 01475 721 281 for more details. A £1 discount on adult tickets
to the Titan is on offer if you visit us as part of one of the
Clyde Cruises services. There is no need to book your visit to the
Titan if coming on the MV Cruiser. Once the vessel arrives in
Clydebank, the Titan staff will meet you at the Quayside where you
can buy your ticket to go to the top.
